How to take care of merino wool blankets?

  • Wash gently: Hand wash or use the wool cycle in cold water (max 30°C / 86°F).
  • Use mild detergent: Choose a wool-safe or baby detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
  • Do not wring: Gently squeeze out excess water or roll the blanket in a towel to absorb moisture.
  • Dry flat: Lay on a clean, dry surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Avoid tumble drying: Heat can shrink and damage merino fibers.
  • Store properly: Keep in a cool, dry place. If storing long-term, use a breathable bag to protect from moths.
